Water, Water, Water!
At Elk Creek we ride horses and do the work of a ranch. No surprises there, but we occasionally try some less expected and often humorous challenges, as the 2023 ranchers showed. They did take to the water, perhaps not quite like ducks but with their own style and grace. Rafting the Snake River proved very wet!
Water, water, everywhere: the junction of Sunlight River and Elk Creek, the cold, very cold stream flowing from the snowfields in the Beartooth Mountains, and the much warmer waters of Dead Indian Creek.
Some things are just hard to explain!
Some of the ranchers demonstrated a wide variety of new dives that might be added to the coming Olympics. Please note the judges checking out the style points.
